VA Acquisition Academy Program Management School
VETS provides curriculum development and graphic artist support to the VA Acquisition Academy (VAAA) Program Management School courseware development. VETS used the Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation (ADDIE) Model as the basis of our training product analysis and development. In the case of Web Based Training (WBT), alpha courseware defined each onscreen lesson and contained fully functional branching, onscreen text, and graphics or written graphic descriptions. Each screen was defined in these ‘storyboards’.  We developed WBT in modules or learning chunks to maximize the transfer of learning. When each course was ready for delivery, our curriculum developers worked closely with the VAAA trainers to determine the specific requirements for delivering the PM training courses.
VA Section 508 Enablement Training Support
VETS designs Sharable Content Object Reference Model (SCORM) compliant e-Learning courseware for the VA Section 508 program office. VETS schedules, prepares and provides Section 508 awareness training activities which includes developing presentations and training modules for Section 508 awareness. Our training experience includes internal trainings and presentations to executives, authorizing officials, program managers, acquisition/ procurement officials and other 508-centric staff. Our training approaches include Ad hoc/Just-In-Time training, instructor-led classroom training, and online training. We produced "talking" DVDs for navigation for people who are blind or have low vision. VETS trained over 2,500 VA employees and contractors were trained in FY2012.
Basic Expeditionary Airfield Resources (BEAR) Distance Learning and Training Support
BEAR is a weapon system and an integral part of the Air Force Expeditionary Combat Support (ECS) capability. As a lead command managed asset, BEAR provides the core infrastructure capability for austere locations and basic supporting systems for expeditionary airfield operations. VETS graphic artists, programmers, instructional designers and curriculum developers developed the initial video, simulation and familiarization training product which identifies the BEAR system, provided equipment purpose and use information, and encompassed BEAR as a total system. We developed a simulated base-set using the BEAR system to serve as a proof of concept that the system could be set up in 22 days rather than 30 days.

Fuels Operational Readiness Capability Equipment (FORCE) Distance Learning and Training Support
The USAF Headquarters Air Combat Command had a requirement to train Airmen to safely operate and maintain the new FORCE systems and subsystems. VETS developed a distance learning program using simulation and e-learning technologies to provide students with an in-depth knowledge of the FORCE system. The training is used as prerequisite training at the Air Force Education and Training Command, for pre-deployment instruction and as On the Job Training in deployed remote locations.
