VETS provides critical infrastructure support to the SBA’s Disaster Loan Assistance Program that allows small businesses to take out emergency loans during national and regional emergencies. VETS supported the Small Business Administration’s multi-tiered infrastructure as the agency processed an unprecedented amount of loans for COVID-19 worth many billions dollars. VETS provides 24 X 7 operational and engineering support to SBA ODA, including software and hardware maintenance, system availability, system security, engineering, and customer support.

Our Capabilities at Work
We designed, maintained, and secured the IT infrastructure for the Surface Deployment and Distribution Command, a component of the United States Transportation Command. As the prime contractor, VETS managed the cloud-based and on-premises infrastructure that supports more than 10,000 world-wide users. We designed, implemented, maintained, and enhanced the Centralized Enclave domains, and provided enterprise Configuration Management, migration planning and execution, Information Assurance, and architecture planning support.

VETS worked with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) to develop a Master Veteran Index (MVI) for VA patients in order to consolidate health care records from disparate entities into a single Electronic Health Record (EHR). VA’s MVI is an identity repository that contains over 26 million identities and provides identity management services to the Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA) and Veterans Health Administration (VHA).

VETS designed, developed, and implemented the Waitbusters cloud-based application, which is a commercial digital product with 875,000+ users. Waitbusters is used by many popular chain restaurants such as Guapo’s, Buffalo Wing Factory, Firenza Pizza, Ford’s Fish Shack, and King Street Oyster Bar. By using an Agile framework, our developers rapidly released features that include reservations, table and server management, online ordering, advertising tools, Facebook Messenger Chatbot, SMS Bot, Amazon Alexa integrations, and a loyalty program.

We worked with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to establish the Electronic FAA Accelerated and Simplified Tasks (eFAST) vehicle, which is now FAA’s preferred contracting vehicle for small business contracts. Our Capabilities at Work
VETS, through our Staffing Pros division, was responsible for the identity verification, fingerprinting, photographing and badging of between 500,000 and 700,000 selectees to work the 2020 Census. To execute this task, our team hired approximately 2,000 individuals nationwide for 528 locations across the United States.
VETS supported the USCIS Service Center Operations Directorate (SCOPS), which is responsible for providing immigration services to foreign citizens. VETS provided comprehensive records management support to two of USCIS’ service centers in Nebraska and Texas. At its peak, VETS managed a 600 person, geographically-dispersed team. VETS was responsible for assembling, maintaining, storing, scanning, and retrieving incoming petitions, applications, and supporting documentation at an average level of 46.2 million file transactions per contract year.
